  • Warm Ocean Water: Salinity levels in warm ocean water can vary due to factors such as evaporation and inflow of freshwater. This type of salted water is found in regions with tropical climates.

  • Cold Ocean Water: Cold ocean water typically has a higher salt content compared to warm ocean water. This is because cold water holds more dissolved salts. It is commonly found in regions with colder climates.

  • Closed Sea Water: Closed seas, such as the Dead Sea, have higher salt concentrations compared to open seas. This is mainly due to the lack of an outlet, causing water to evaporate and leaving behind concentrated salts.

  • Open Sea Water: Open seas, like the Mediterranean Sea, have lower salt concentrations compared to closed seas. These bodies of water have outlets that allow water to flow in and out, preventing excessive salt accumulation.
