Our system utilizes a proven method of removing iron and manganese, ensuring that your water is free from these contaminants. By injecting *** or ***, followed by filtration with sand or coated greensand media, our system effectively eliminates iron and manganese particles.
Unlike other treatment systems, our Iron Manganese Filtration System minimizes maintenance and costs. We use ***, oxygen, or other chemicals to oxidize the iron and manganese, transforming them into an oxidized or solid form. These particles are then easily filtered out using our filter sand and anthracite.
For an alternative to filter sand, we offer manganese dioxide filter media. This media, available in a solid granule form or as a coating on various types of granular filter media, such as silica or greensand, efficiently removes iron and manganese from your water.
