Depending on the concentration levels, our filter offers different solutions. For lower levels of iron and manganese (Iron < 2.0mg/L, Mn < 2mg/L), aeration is recommended. By using a blast pump or air compressor, the water is aerated and the pH is adjusted if necessary. A single iron removal filter is then used.
For higher levels of iron and manganese (Iron ≥ 5mg/L, Mn ≥ 1.5mg/L), a two-step process is employed. First, aeration is carried out, followed by the use of a double iron removal filter. This ensures effective removal of both iron and manganese.
