  • Mixed Bed Ion Exchange (MB) uses ion exchange resins to remove dissolved ions from water. It is a traditional method that requires periodic chemical regeneration.

  • Electrodeionization (EDI) combines ion exchange with an electric field, allowing for continuous, chemical-free regeneration. It is a more modern, eco-friendly, and automated solution.
