Are you concerned about the quality of your groundwater? Do you suspect that the iron and manganese levels in your water exceed the standard? Dongguan Haiyuan Water Treatment Co., Ltd. has the perfect solution for you.
This change in color and odor occurs because groundwater is rich in minerals and has been in an anaerobic environment for an extended period. As a result, iron and manganese ions exist in a divalent form. When these ions come into contact with air, they undergo oxidation and form precipitates of ferric iron.
If you observe the above-mentioned signs in your drilling water, we recommend conducting a water report to test the specific content of iron and manganese. Dongguan Haiyuan Water Treatment Co., Ltd. can provide you with a professional water analysis and offer a tailored iron and manganese removal solution based on your situation.
Our goal is to make your water healthier and ensure that it meets the required standards. Trust Dongguan Haiyuan Water Treatment Co., Ltd. for all your iron and manganese removal needs.
Welcome to Dongguan Haiyuan Water Treatment Co., Ltd., the leading provider of iron and manganese removal solutions for well water.
When you encounter high concentrations of iron and manganese in your water, it is crucial to determine the exact levels before proceeding. Please provide us with the test results indicating the concentration of iron and manganese in your water.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) standards, the recommended limits for iron and manganese are as follows:
If the iron concentration is below 2.0mg/L and the manganese concentration is below 2.0mg/L, we recommend using aeration (blast pump or air compressor) to remove the iron. If the pH level is low, adjust it accordingly. A single iron removal filter should be sufficient.
For iron concentrations equal to or above 5.0mg/L and manganese concentrations equal to or above 1.5mg/L, we recommend a two-step process. Begin with aeration to oxidize the ferrous iron to ferric iron, followed by a double iron removal filter to remove both iron and manganese.
If the iron concentration exceeds 10.0mg/L and the manganese concentration exceeds 2.0mg/L, and the pH level is higher than 5.5, please consult with one of our engineers to discuss a customized design.
Our iron and manganese removal system includes the following components:
Aeration is currently the most mature and cost-effective method for removing iron and manganese from well water. Our system includes an aeration tank and an aeration blower that oxidize ferrous iron to ferric iron. The precipitated ferric iron is then effectively removed by a manganese sand filter. Finally, an activated carbon filter is used to eliminate any remaining color and ensure the water meets the desired quality standards.
