When it comes to salted water, the source matters. Water from warm oceans tends to have a different salt content compared to water from cold oceans. The salt content in warm ocean water is influenced by various factors such as temperature and location. On the other hand, water from cold oceans has its own unique salt composition, influenced by colder temperatures and different marine ecosystems.



Closed Seas vs. Open Seas


The salt content of salted water also differs between closed seas and open seas. Closed seas, such as the Dead Sea, have a higher salt concentration due to the lack of an outlet. The high evaporation rates in closed seas result in the accumulation of salt over time. In contrast, open seas have a lower salt content as they are connected to larger bodies of water and experience regular water exchange.

SWRO Process steps introduction

Pre-treatment Feed water pump, Stainless steel 316L Provide pressure for filters;
Quartz sand filter Remove suspended particle and large impurity. In this system;
Active Carbon Filter (option) Remove the color, free chloride, organic matter, harmful matter, ect;
Anti-scalant system To add chemicals to remove some impurities and prolong thememebranes using/washing time(prevent membrane blocking)
Manual/Auto control valves Flushing sand/carbon filter after some time
5micron  filter Remove larger than 5 micro colloids in the water. In this system
